My Memories Scrapbook Software GIVEAWAY

My Memories Suite Version 2.0 digital scrapbooking software is a fun and creative way to keep and share memories, whether you have a Mac or PC. The software's design tools will help you to build entire albums effortlessly using one of the many installed templates, or designing your very own pages from scratch.

The digital scrapbooking software is so easy to use and once you're done there's many ways to share: You can print your digital pages out to fit in a traditional scrapbook or have them professionally printed and bound in the click of the mouse. It doesn't end at scrap booking either. You can create calendars, cards, videos, posters, basically whatever you put your imagination to.

The software suite comes with some basic layouts, fun fonts and embellishments, and what's seriously awesome is that there are many FREE kits to download online! Designers are submitting different templates all the time so the creative possibilities are endless. And don't worry- the other kits are definitely affordable! A designer pack is around $5. I found myself downloading most of the free kits and can't wait to finally organize all my photos! I've made one scrapbook in my life and it was messy, complicated and cost me an arm and a leg. I wish I had known about this sooner!

Here's something I created by just playing around:
Me and my BFF Jack at the West Virginia Wine & Jazz Festival 2011.

Sato

Birds in military uniforms--

Something we thought we'd never see-- but Japanese artist Sato depicts these flying fauna in uniform quite naturally. The costumed birds are from the collection titled Torigun. It's interesting to see how Sato found a way for the outfits to fit each bird so perfectly in way that personifies them to a position of authority... even down to the shoes.

M83

M83's new album Hurry Up, We're Dreaming was released 10/18/2011. Here is the new video for Midnight City!

M83 kind of has that electronic-indie-trance thing going on-- which is very intriguing. The name M83 is actually the name of a spiral galaxy called Messier 83. When you listen to their music, you definitely get overcome with a feeling of being in a different world. Hurry Up, We're Dreaming is a two disc album, taking you under their trance for about 1.2 hours, combining synthesizers, guitar, piano, crazy harmonizing and more. The band is made up of Frenchmen Anthony Gonzalez and Nicholas Fromageau.

Coldplay

Coldplay's latest album, Mylo Xyloto was released today! Here is the video for the song "Paradise."

Mark Ryden

Mark Ryden blasted through the 90s with a new genre: Pop Surrealism. He is now a world renowned artist known for his works that are cute yet disturbing, while incorporating cultural connotations.
"the viewer is confronted with the juxtaposition of the childhood innocence and the mysterious recesses of the soul. A subtle disquiet inhabits his paintings; the work is achingly beautiful as it hints at darker psychic stuff beneath the surface of cultural kitsch."
As you look into one of Ryden's works, you enter one of the fantasty worlds he has created. You can recognize some familiar icons and themes, however, his subjects have an eery look in their eyes like we are interrupting something, as if we just opened a trap door and shouldn't be looking in.

Ryden recieved a BFA in 1987 from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. His paintings have been exhibited in museums and galleries worldwide. Mark has designed album art for various artists such as Michael Jackson, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Ringo Starr. He currently lives in LA.
